The much anticipated AFL Asia 2019 Asian Championships schedule has been released ahead of the 20th Asian Champs, which will be held at the Thai Polo & Equestrian Club in Pattaya, Thailand on Saturday August 31st.
It’s a jam-packed and exciting schedule highlighted by the following;
- Record 24 Teams
- Record 14 Countries
- Record 6 Women’s Teams
- Division 3 introduced for the first time
- 4 Divisions with 6 Teams in each Division
- Division 2 & 3 Format will be played in the morning
- Division 1 & Women’s Division will be played in the afternoon
- All Division 1 Teams will play each other with the Top 2 Teams to play in the Grand Final
- Each Division 2, 3 & Women’s Division Team will play a minimum of 4 games
- 3 Games/Division played at the same time
- 3 Ovals with the same measurements
- All Asian Game involving the best Asian born talent
