The Beijing Bombers are the preeminent force in Australian Rules footy in China. Since inception in 2003, the Bombers have played and promoted Aussie Rules throughout Asia and are committed to developing our great game in the East.

The Bombers compete each year against our main Chinese rivals, the Shanghai Tigers, for the China Cup. Player numbers permitting, we also compete in an intra-club Beijing Australian Football League or BAFL.

When we aren’t beating the hell out of each other, the Tigers and Bombers combine forces to create the truly formidable China Reds. The Reds tour regularly to compete in various games and competitions across Asia.

Since 2003, Bombers players have played footy in Cambodia, Hong Kong, Malaysia, Manilla, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam!

In recent years the Bombers have expanded their sporting horizons, playing an annual International Rules game against the Beijing Gaelic Association and also competing in the All-China Games, a purely Gaelic competition against sides throughout Asia. The Beijing Cricket Sixes competition and Twenty20 cricket keep the reflexes sharp in our down time.

The Bombers train most weekends at Dulwich College, near Exit 7 on the Airport Expressway. Training is open to anyone, regardless of age or ability.

Whether you’re looking to play, support, sponsor or simply lend a hand, get in touch with us today and become a part of this great footy club.
