ANZAC Day is one of the biggest days on the calendar for AFL and for Australian’s in general. Asian Football exists withing a region where several of Australia’s most meaningful ever military engagements occurred and enables Asian footy to stage games that pay tribute to both the bravery of Australia’s armed services personnel and those on all sides of these battles .
In 2020, ANZAC Day lands on a Saturday meaning AFL Asia games can be played on the actual day! Several ANZAC Day matches are already scheduled and more could follow:
-Vietnam Swans vs Singapore Wombats – Lord Mayors Oval, Vung Tau,
-Thailand Tigers vs. Cambodian Eagles – Kanchanburi, Thailand
-Malaysian Warriors vs Hong Kong Dragons – Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
-IMPACT Osaka Dingoes ANZAC Day Cup – Osaka, Japan

One of the most hotly contested annual tournaments in Asia. The Indochina Cup returns to Laos pitting men and women from Laos, Thailand, Cambodia, Vietnam and Myanmar against each other.
The biggest AFL tournament outside of Australia, the Bali Masters, returns in 2020. 3 days of incredible fun, footy and mates in paradise!
