The Vientiane Cup – Myanmar Fighting Cocks vs Laos Elephants
Feb 28 all-day

Screen Shot 2015-02-23 at 9.11.02 pm
The Vientiane Cup is now into its second year and it is with great pleasure that the Lao Elephants will be welcoming the Myanmar Fighting Cocks to Laos to compete this year. The 2014 Vientiane Cup was played in January 2014 between The Lao Elephants and Thailand Tigers with the Tigers taking out the Cup. This was a very big day in the history of the Lao Elephants as they fielded an all national side, as well as a team of expatriates. Although the Elephants were not victorious, they built a strong platform for the future of the football Club.
We have tried to design the format and timing of this event so that it complements, and does not compete with other regional tournaments. While competition will undoubtedly be keen, the emphasis is on participation and ensuring that it is an enjoyable experience for everyone, be they players, spectators or sponsors.
