Bringing together teams from across China the Chengdu 9’s tournament showcased some great Footy deep in Panda country!
In the first game the new Chongquin Cats debuted in their new Cats uniforms modelled from the Geelong superstars. The Cats came out in force and in a hard fought battle won over the younger fitter Guanzhou’s Scorpions that had made the journey.

In the final game the Scorpions made the most of their game break and came out kicking in the final game of the day

I was great to see some shared comeradery after the game! We hope to see more teams accepting the invite for next years Chengdu 9’s.
