Founded in 2007, the Lao Elephants Football Club, based in Vientiane with players spread throughout Lao PDR, is made up of a rotating roster of pink-jerseyed falang and Lao men and women carrying the weight of the nation on their shoulders.

The Lao Elephants found glory by taking out the 2015 Asian Championship in Bangkok and have remained competitive ever since with more big wins on the horizon.

We aim to foster a passion for the great game of Aussie Rules in Lao PDR and reach out to the local community to spread knowledge and awareness of the game.

We aim to provide an avenue for the community to access footy by running clinics in schools and running auskick sessions. We also aim to foster relationships with other sports clubs in Lao PDR and cultivate the culture of a footy club by hosting events, fundraising and just getting together to watch games.

We hope to be able to expand the player, leadership and administrative rosters to include more local Lao members and ideally develop a club that will be able to sustain itself without the homegrown passion for footy of the aussie members.

The future is bright for the Lao Elephants.
