The Thailand Tigers have proudly announced four additional recipients of their ‘Thailand Tigers AFL Sports Scholarship’, as well as one Kindergarten Scholarship.

The scholarships were generously funded by members of the Thaigers Army who donated their refund from the cancelled Anzac Day tour to Kanchanburi, whilst large personal donations were also received from former Tiger Kristian Vandermeer and current Tigers AFLW player Samantha Finnie.

Scholarships for Nontawat Toma (Non), Thanatos Pantong (Folk) and Kasada Amna (James) were funded by members of the Anzac Day Tour Group, whilst Ekachai Sammna (Frankie) and Nichapat Kritong (Pream, female Kindergarten student) were funded by the generous personal donations received from Kristian Vandermeer and Samantha Finnie respectively.

These scholarships are in addition to the 6 other Thailand Tigers AFL Sports Scholarships that were awarded earlier in the year, which were funded by AustCham Thailand.

The Thailand Tigers are a proud club and are having an enormous impact in their local communities as they celebrate their 25th year anniversary in style and hope that these scholarships have a profound impact upon the future of each child’s education.
