In 2007, the Singapore Sharks Football Club was born out of a common desire of a group of homesick Aussies wanting to give their children the chance to play the great game we call “AFL” – Aussie Rules.

The Club runs three programs consisting of Auskick for children up to Year 3, coaching and training for children in Year 4 and above and a training program for parents with all sessions held at the Australian International School (AIS) on Lorong Chuan.

Today there are almost 300 children registered in the Auskick and training programs and more than 60 parents who also enjoy a run and a kick.

The programs are not restricted to just AIS children and parents. Children from 19 schools around Singapore are currently enjoying the benefits of the community club spirit that the Singapore Sharks have fostered in its short life span and the club certainly welcomes all help and support from the parents from the wider community.

While the Singapore Sharks also field a Masters team, internationals such as the Asian Champs are contested by the Singapore Wombats.
