We again have a great turn out for our women’s competition, showing how the game is going from strength to strength in the region. With one of the better performing teams in the region, and last year’s winner, unable to participate this year, there is a great opportunity for teams to step up. Despite large numbers vacating the country, the Hong Kong Dragons have attracted a number of new players and will be aiming to feature in the finals. Meanwhile the Volcanoes have gone from strength to strength, leading some to think that they might be the ones to watch. The Cambodian Apsaras will again have the biggest representation of indigenous players, a testament to the development work of the club. All teams will be doing their best to be presented as the SMATS Women’s Division champions.
