The Vietnam Swans report the success of the mens and ladies mixed AFL 9’s competition from Saigon. Running from November to January the competition involved 4 teams playing 8 games each.
President’s comment “It’s great to see the ladies getting into Footy, full credit to the guys and girls organizing this. With Women’s Footy coming into the lime light in Australia this mixed AFL 9’s format is something we and the AFL would love to see replicated around other countries.”
We are planning a women’s exhibition game for the AFL Asia Asian Championships in October 2016, it will be great to see what ladies talent Asia can come up with this year.”
