Key Essentials for the 2014 Asian Champs.
Today, 19 July, the prospectus for AFL Asia’s 2014 Asian Champs was released.

Below are some key essentials.
The Asian Championships will be held in Clark, one hour from Manila, Philippines, on Saturday 11 October 2014.
Tournament Address: Parade Grounds, Cardinal Santos Avenue, Clark Freeport Zone.
Scheduling of Event & Games will be advertised closer to the tournament date and communicated through the AC14 media channels.
Duration of Games
- Preliminary Matches: 2 x 10 minute halves, with a 5 minute half time break (change of ends)
- Semi Finals: 2 x 15 minute halves, with a 10 minute half time break
- Grand Final: 2 x 20 minute halves, with a 10 minute half time break
Number of Players per Team
- 16 players on the field and a maximum of 10 interchange players. A maximum of 26 players per game.
Qualification for Finals
- Semi Finals:A player must have played in at least 2 preliminary games to be eligible.
- Grand Final: A player must have played in at least 3 games (preliminary and/or the Semi Final) to be eligible.
Registration fees
It has been decided by the organising committee that each participating team will be required to pay a fee of US$1,600 (or Peso equivalent at the time of payment) irrespective of the number of persons in that team.
Registration fees are due by 12 September 2014.
