AFL Asia are excited to announce that the Asian Championships are locked in again for 2024! Our premier, annual tournament will be held on Saturday August 31, 2024, at the Thai Polo and Equestrian Club in Chon Buri, Thailand.

After the Asian Championships returned to Chon Buri triumphantly in 2023, AFL Asia is excited to continue building on the momentum of a stellar year of football. AFL Asia is ambitious about breaking attendance records and welcoming more teams and players than ever before as we continue building a great relationship with the venue.

The Thailand Tigers hosted AFL Asia’s showcase event magnificently in 2023 and have carried over their rights to the event again in 2024. As the event continues to grow, the Thai Polo and Equestrian Club in Chon Buri has the capacity to host four full-size Australian Rules Football grounds, promising to service as much football for each player and team as possible.

Event Coordinator, Jarrod Roberts, has expressed his delight at the opportunity to once again play host to AFL Asia teams.

“The Thailand Tigers are really excited to partner with the Advance Australia Council and AFL Asia to host the 2024 Asian Championships. We welcome teams from across Asia to Chon Buri as we aim to hold an even bigger and better event than last year. We will work closely with AFL Asia to ensure we give all competing teams a fantastic day of football.”

Pending team submissions, initial plans will look to schedule four to five divisions across the day, including three men’s divisions and two women’s division.
