“Aussie Rules the World” is a unique documentary style movie about Aussie Rules’ standing as an international game. The movie follows former AFL Premiership Captain of the Sydney Swans, Brett Kirk’s journey through some of the extreme pockets of the world where the game is already established and played regularly, and some areas where it’s starting from scratch!
After the recent Premieres in London, Delhi and Calcutta, AFL ASIA and the Hong Kong Dragons hosted the Hong Kong Premeire at the prestigious HK Football Club (Est 1886). The Dragons, Auskick families and AFL enthusiasts were treated to a cocktail buffet and beverages before the movie commenced and concluded with an informative Q & A with the movies Sydney based Director and Producer Micheal and Kate McIntyre.
The movie is a must see for all Asian Footy Fans as it reads like a book from how to play footy in Asia!
