‘The last Saturday in September’ at the MCG is finally back and so are the AFL Grand Final events right across Asia, with the Geelong Cats set to take on the Sydney Swans in the traditional Saturday afternoon time slot of 2:30pm AEST.
AFL Grand Final events have traditionally given clubs across the region an opportunity to celebrate in style, with auctions and fundraisers organised to raise funds for their club’s football operations, local & junior development initiatives, as well as towards local charities that our proud clubs have partnered with.
Although the big-name Guest Speakers aren’t back on our shores just yet, there’s plenty of AFL Grand Final events that’ll entertain the AFL Asia family this coming Saturday, in what is a national celebration of Australia’s greatest sport.
There’s plenty of places throughout the region to watch all of the action and can be viewed live in conjunction with AFL Asia-based clubs at various advertised locations including the following;
Phnom Penh with the Cambodia Eagles & Apsaras, Hong Kong with the Hong Kong Dragons, Jakarta, Indonesia with the Jakarta Bintangs, Osaka, Japan with the Osaka Dingoes, Vientiane with the Laos Elephants, Kuala Lumpur with the Malaysia Warriors & Warrior Women, Manila with the Philippine Eagles, Port Moresby with the PNG Muruks, Seoul with AFL South Korea, Singapore with the Singapore Wombats & Wombettes, Bangkok with the Thailand Tigers, Hanoi & Saigon with the Vietnam Swans.
